What does this involve?
1. Online screening form (~ 5 minutes): You’ll fill out a form to check if you qualify. We’ll ask about you, your health history, medications, lifestyle, and if you participated in similar studies. If you qualify, we’ll ask for your contact details.
2. Online screening video call (~ 45 minutes): A researcher will contact you and you can book an online screening call. We’ll check your suitability for the research, which will involve questions about your medical history and a psychiatric assessment.
3. In-person Screening visit (~ 2 hours): A researcher will contact you and you can book a convenient time for you to come to the Warneford Hospital. We’ll double-check your suitability for the research, including a urine test for drugs and pregnancy. If suitable, you’ll be asked to complete some questionnaires and three computer tasks.
4. In-person Study visit (5 hours): We’ll agree a time for you to come to the Warneford Hospital in the morning. We’ll repeat a few of the screening questions we asked you before. After an hour, you’ll complete some computer-based tasks and questionnaires. It will also involve saliva collection during one of the tasks.
