What does this involve?
This study investigates the effect of a 7-day course of escitalopram on effort-modulated reward processing through a series of behavioural tasks. Participants undergo a single MRI scan whilst completing a reward task too. It requires a screening phone call, plus 2 in-person visits (about 6 hours in total).
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for right-handed individuals aged 18-40 yrs old; no previous mental illness; no issues with function of liver, kidney, heart, digestive system, neurological system or eyes; do not have a body mass index under 17 or over 40; no regular use of illicit substances in previous 3 months, not pregnant or breastfeeding. You will be compensated for your time.
